This book is more of a booklet that briefly covers World War I. I am a complete novice on the topic so I found the booklet engaging and educational. It reminded me of things I've been taught but have long since forgotten and it enlightened me in other areas reagarding the war. Short chapters discussed the reasons for World War I, the parties involved in the conflict, emergent strategies in warfare and the resolution (or partial resolution) to the conflict. I really appreciated the brief format and feel it was well worth the half-hour it took me to read. Thanks for the quick recap of World War I!Product details

I chose this because I felt I knew less WWI history than I should, certainly less than about other eras such as WWII. I was intrigued by the idea of using multimedia to improve interest/knowledge/retention. Unfortunately, the multimedia sections did not work on the Fire! While I can't say I didn't get my money's worth for a free app, what was left was a very superficial review that taught me little that I didn't already know. They should make it clear what tablets their multimedia works on before offering it on this kind of sales forum.
